Gels

for this assignment i wanted to experiment more with the color gels but i wanted to use the gels in a  nontraditional way. instead of using the gels to light up the background i decided to use the physical gel in my photo. for this photo i chose to use the yellow gel overtop of the trees in my backyard because when it's really sunny outside i've always thought the woods looked really vibrant and kind of yellow so i wanted to showcase that. i did that by placing the yellow gel in front of the lens while shooting.
